Latvia
Latvia is a country located in the Baltic region of Northern Europe. It shares its borders with Estonia to the north, Lithuania to the south, Belarus to the southeast, and Russia (Nizhny Novgorod Oblast) to the east. The country has a total area of approximately 64,589 square kilometers.
The official language of Latvia is Latvian. However, many people also speak English, especially among the younger population and those working in tourism. The country has a rich cultural heritage, with influences from its history as a Soviet republic and its current status as an EU member state.
Public toilets are relatively common in Latvia’s cities and towns, particularly in areas popular with tourists. Many public restrooms can be found in shopping centers, railway stations, and some city streets.
